FlipGrid for votes for women speech


This week in reading we did our flip grid for our reading task. This was the easiest 1 because we just had to make our speech and record it for our video or flipgrid. We massed up sometimes buts its ok everyone has made mistakes!

Tables Conga (8 Times tables)



This week I played Tables Conga but in 8 times tables. This was 98.99% easy. This is an great fun maths games that any one can play. Even if your on tablet! I suggest you to play this fun maths game. If you can beat the game well then your a smarty! Its really easy to win anyways but you can test your maths skills in this game if you liked to.

Kiwi Can (Week 10)

This week in kiwi can we got to play games that I forgot the names are because I always have short memory about the names of people and games, well some. We got to play outside for games that are ment to be outside, this was our last kiwi can season for this term because its the end of the term. These games were fun and I can still tell you the instructions to the game. The first game was the same game we played on week 5 or 4 I dont know. So the game requires a ball or a small if you want it extremly hard. Intructions : 1. Get in a circle. 2. Spread your legs 3. Put either 1 of the arms behind you. 4. Start the game. 5. Get a ball out of someones legs and then they will be out! And the second game was an fun one this time. The name of the game is "10 down". Game requires any ball. This is an team game. You have to put the ball on the ground and don't stop holding it then throw it to your team and they do the same game thing! When your team gets the 10 touch downs you win. Thats all I think we played in kiwi can.

Keyboard Drill



This week I did my daily 6 and I did hand writings first then I do my other other daily 6's. This is an easy task due to its really easy and you just copy but dont copy and paste you have to write it cause then it will be CHEATING!

Recount writing



LI - To edit or fix some things from what we did the last weeks.

In writing we had to edit our recount writing so we can check what we did not do in the recount and mistakes we did. This was a easy task to do since we just had to check the whole work and find mistakes. Week 9 we did our recount writing but we have to plan, then we do our actural recount. Then week 9 we edit our work.

Mixed Problems



LI - To problem solvle

This week I learned how to solve problems by how I solved it. In this task if one person fails EVERYONE fails. The reason why everyone fails when one person fails is because they did not help him on questions, were not allowed to give them the answer. This was an hard task cause some of the question were confusing for me but this task was still fun cause when we finish we get to learn coding.

Kiwi can post (Week 9)

Today in kiwi can our normal kiwi can teachers were not here but lucky we had some new ones to take over. We had lots of fun in the games we played with them. They did not told us the names of the game but one of the games were like simon says but the simon has to pick someone to do something, if he fails or if hes too slow then hes out of the round. The next game we played was a game that we put hooler hoops around cones by throwing or roling. This was an tricky game because almost everone was going for the most points one.

Special Effects (Raz-Kids)


This week I read a book called "SPECIAL EFFECTS". This book caught my eye because when I saw these words I was so happy that I found detail about how people make special effects in movies. This was an cool book and I suggest you to read this book cause if you don't know how and what special effects are then you should read this book! *You can maybe find this book in an libary, or you can get your free trial on raz-kids today or later!*

Recount writing


LI: To write a recount of an activity.
LI: To edit a recount of an activity.

An recount is like an orientation. But its a real story. Like writing a orientation that you went to someones house, a recount has to be real.

What I learned - I learned some meanings of what an recount is and how it is used

How I learned - We have to go in a group of three first and find clues, pieces to get an secret phase by going outside and finding papers with clues and pieces. Our secret phase was "Mr. Wong thinks star wars is awesome." It would be obvious if he told us.

This week I played Tables Conga. This time in the 8 times table. It was pretty easy to be honest. This game is an fun maths game. This game is an free to play game, (F2P). I suggest you play it to so you can test your brain on how smart you are on maths.

Summarising



LI - To explain in fewer words what the text is about.

This was an easy task, finding words was a little hard. I have learned new words such as debate. We did this in the "Votes for women" task. We still have 1 more week till this reading task finishes! When we finish our time finding 20 words. We have to choose the 6 most important words to write some sentences.

Maths art


LI -To create a piece of art using: rotation, translation, and reflection.

This week in maths we did some planning on math arts. We had to go in groups with people not in our actual maths groups. It was lots of fun planning these. I had some times finding some shapes that is good for using on maths so that we can rotate it not looking the same when we did not rotate it. It was an little hard task to do anyways.





Tongan language week.



LI - To write a slides that makes you learn tongan language.

What did I learn? - I learned some numbers and words from the language tongan by looking at a website that makes you learn any language.

How did I learn? - We had to go in groups to write some language words from tongan, on tongan language week.

Features and patterns


LI - To identify vocabulary and language features for use in writing a poem about feelings.

What did I learn - I learned the meanings of language features and meanings of patterns in writings.
How did I learn - We have to go in a google drawing to write about the language features and patterns in a poem.

Kiwi Can

LI - To write about what we did in kiwi can this week.

In kiwi can we were learning about self-management and self-desipine. We played the 1 of the games we did last week talking about the self-management. We also learned what risky means and what risky things there is like jumping off a cliff without a paracute, thats risky! We played a new game about team work and trying not to do risky things completing a level. I think the teachers did not tell us the name. It was a game when we have to put all our team in a circle and the circle gets smaller each level which makes it harder.

This book talks about money from USA. I think this is a fun book because of its historical things about the money from the USA and who minted the USA money. In this game I found something new I just found, you can now pick any times table from 2 to 9. I did 9 times this time cause it was a good level for me. This game is an easy times table game for kids who wants to try out maths or likes maths.

Speech Marks


LI -To use speech marks to show when someone is speaking.

(To make direct quotes.)

What did I learn - I learned how to use speech marks. If its a question that someone is asking the question goes first and put the speech marks between the question. And put asked *NAME*.

How did I learn - We have to use speech marks whenever a character talks. Heres an example, "Wheres the cat?" asked *NAME*.

This week we I was working with Matthew, Johnathan, Karlos, and Jack who was animating. Jake made thousands of slides for his animation. The others and me were making videos for Hauora *We kept failing*. Animating for Jack was easy. 
Hauora meaning - Spiritual, Mental/Emotional, Physical, and Social.
