Measurement


Learning intension -
  • Make a video about measuring angles. Include information on the following:
    • How to measure an angle
    • How many degrees there are around a point.
    • How to work out one of the problems from quarters to twelfths.
    • Any extra information you can find out about angles.
What did I learn - I learned what the sectors are on the google slide
How did I learn - We have to make sectors we use in our slides

Newspapper

Learning intension - Write and design a front page report about animals escaping from the zoo
What did I learn - I learned how to make a newspapper but on google docs and make a fake news report about animals escaping from a zoo.
How did I learn - I used a monkey on a fake news on google docs escaping from the zoo.

What did I learn - I learned how to write a narritive about a picture.
How did I learn - I wrote a narritive about a story called "The Rake" on google docs.

Learning intention - To plan and write narratives quickly.
What I learned - We learned how to make a narritive fun to read and how we use simple sentences
How I learned - We used a quick write doc and write our story in the Story Organiser

Running length

Learning intention - To identify the units of time in order from shortest to longest. LI: to learn how to measure time.
What did I learn - We learned each other's speed and time. We also learned where to find a stopwatch on google.
How did I learn - We timed each other and we also walked how many seconds it takes for walking.

Compare and contrast

Learning Intention - Using the below drawing compare and contrast items you find in LS1.
What did I learn - I learn what is the difference between a chromebook and a clock and what is the same between  a chromebook and a clock. I learnt that the document that I used was a compare and contrast document. I put the piece of technology on the left and put the technology system on the right side.
How did you learn - I learnt by using google docs and use a compare and contrast document and add one word from technology system and piece of technology then we write down what is the same and what is difference between a chromebook and a clock

What did you learn- I learnt that technological system has a input and output for example. If I have a bread and I put it in the toaster then that is the input and when it comes out it is a toast and it’s the output.
How did you learn- We got some ideas from a video called “What is technology?”
